WGMJJ offers one-on-one Jiu Jitsu training training at a location of your choosing (home, office, park, etc.) WGMJJ offers professional, personal, and tailored training to meet the clients where they are at in their fitness level and experience. Jiu Jitsu is a fun and practical sport to learn and we focus on honing the basics while remaining safe.
WGMJJ is owned by a veteran who served 31 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. Russ discovered jiu jitsu later in his life as he transitioned from the military to the civilian workforce. While on active duty he served as a helicopter rescue swimmer and search and rescue helicopter pilot. He can take the lessons learned in high-stress, demanding environments and translate those into the art of jiu jitsu. He believes that we operate on the three-legged stool model; body, mind, and soul. Each leg of the stool must be equal or we’re out of balance. Through WGMJJ you will learn how to strengthen all three legs of the stool.
